Validation Engineering Lead

As a DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) Validation Lead at Micron Technology, Inc., you will insure Micron's customers have world class experience with Micron's products As we journey through the evolution of memory technology, you will have the opportunity to lead us in the activity of Validating new DRAM products, coordinating assets, analyzing and reporting validation results. You will guide us in writing applicable validation code to evaluate established performance metrics of applicable part types. In addition, crafting and specifying vital hardware to ensure high fidelity measurements. In this role, you will be an expert on measurement tools, capabilities, limitations as well as a technical resource within equipment families. You should have experienced knowledge of validation code and measurement techniques used to evaluate device performance, including debugging code, and aiding other engineers. Additional responsibilities include an in-depth understanding of the general device functionality, specific to Micron products, as well as an understanding of schematics and signal integrity.

As a Lead, your leadership skills will be exercised by developing the family Validation Engineers in coaching, establishing goals, encouraging career development, and conducting performance appraisals. You will also train new engineers, deliver instruction, and assist with data analysis and project management as needed. You will own the workflow within the group and handle personnel issues within company and department guidelines.

- Coordinate Post Silicon Validation
- Ensure that Silicon Meets Product Specifications
- Provide Technical Training and Expertise
- Lead and Develop the Team
- Create and maintain metrics that measure success

**Education**:**Bachelors Degree**:

- Engineering - Computer, Electrical or related study

**Course work in any of the following**:**Semiconductor Device Physics, VLSI, Microelectronics, Computer Architecture, Statistics, Verilog**:

- Programming (C, C++)
- Experience with Shell Scripts (Perl, Unix, Batch, Python, etc.).
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (Nextest, Teradyne, Advantest, Verigy, etc.)
- Basic understanding of memory architectures.

- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
