Be part of the world’s largest Trent engines MRO - Engineering & Technology (E&T) Team to support and contribute to the SAESL Industry 4.0 journey, and deliver effective and sound solutions to ensure highest possible value to a customer base that spans across 6 continents.
- This role is primarily responsible for all NDT-related processes, forensic engineering and technical support for MRO operations, project developments, technology deployment, and regulatory audits.

**Responsibilities**
- Facilitate, train and coordinate the activities of the NDT teams. Impart proper skills towards processing and inspection of all parts to ensure the needs for business in terms of inspection services are met as a result of an efficient and high performing team.
- Look after proper maintenance of NDT inspection systems so that they meet the requirements of regulating agencies.
- Coordinate radiation-emitting area and personnel to be in compliance with all radiation safety regulations.
- Maintain personnel expertise and formal certification in the appropriate NDT disciplines.
- Develop the NDT staff with sufficient training and formal certification so that the needs of the business are adequately covered, including back-up.
- Develop, approve and maintain NDT Manual, NDT Standard Operating Procedures, work instruction and techniques.
- Function as the primary technical interface and engineering resource on all NDT-related issues. (Preferable covering MT, RT, FPI, UT, ECI)
- Constantly explore and seek better ways and more efficient methods of allowing the business to perform NDT in the most optimal manner.
- Promote and monitor Proactive safety reporting.
- Ensure that regular independent technical audits (both system and product) are carried out (Internal and Supplier)
- Review, Approve and Ensure competencies of Outside Agencies
- Review and endorse sequence of NDT Operation
- Maintain NDT Nadcap accreditation
- Certified in NAS 410 /EN4179 L3, MT, PT, ET, UT & RT (Film & Digital) Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and policies.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum a Diploma in Engineering or Relevant experience.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in all NDT methods (PT, MT, ET, UT, Conventional RT & Digital RT). Experience on aerospace sector preferred.
- Holds a valid aerospace NDT Level 3 certification in accordance with NAS410/EN4179/PCN/ASNT.
- Relevant experience & competency in leading & conducting NDT related audits.
- Good team player with strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Able to work under pressure and multi task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
