What You Will Do:

- Develop and implement data protection and privacy policies and programs to ensure compliance with the applicable data privacy laws and regulations
- Provide privacy support to new product launches and initiatives
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments to embed privacy requirements in new scenarios and processes following the principles of “Privacy by Design”
- Manage and follow up with Data Privacy matters, to enable successful navigation and compliance with company policies and applicable Data Privacy laws
- Execute data governance policies and initiatives such as data mapping, data quality and data sharing
- Keep up-to-date on current and emerging trends and changes in legislation within the area of Data Privacy and applicability to the organization
- Compile and update an organized record of all compliance activities and maintain constant reporting
- Design and implement appropriate training & awareness activities to secure policy adherence and awareness
- Lead or participate other projects within or across departments

What We Are Looking For:

- Education: Bachelor degree or above
- Experience
- Common law or EU (any EU jurisdiction) qualified lawyer with at least 5 years PQE, including at a law firm or in-house experiences
- Familiar with data privacy laws and regulations in SG, experience in a data privacy compliance program
- Good communication skills, excelled in interacting with external parties as well as internal parties
- Prior experience in gaming or TMT industry preferred
- Qualifications
- CIPP/E, CIPP/US and CIPM certifications are preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Chinese is preferred but not mandatory
