The **Shift Manager **is responsible for ensuring smooth operations during his shift, this includes delegating tasks to restaurant staff, addressing diners’ queries and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and Company SOP.
- Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.
- Provided guests with an exceptional dining experience and quality service
- Take and serve food/drinks orders
- Up-sell when appropriate
- Performs the complete service sequence
- Handles complaints and service recoveries
- Delegate tasks to restaurant staff and supervise their performance
- Maintain a fully-stocked inventory and order supplies, as needed
- Ensures the cleanliness of the Burgergrill
- Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
- Performs opening and closing checklists correctly
- Served as mentor to junior team members to enforce teambuilding
- Ensures that SOPs are being implemented in the Burgergrill at all times
- Solves problems and make decisions at managerial level
- Balance the cash register at the end of the shift
- Submit “end of the day” report
- Supervise bar and service
- Open or close the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift)
- Report maintenance and conduct training to newly hired team member
