**We are looking for a Regional Marketing Director Asia based in Singapore.**

The Regional Marketing Director Asia is accountable for the development and leads the execution of marketing strategies for the Asia cluster to meet current and future consumers’ needs across the entire portfolio of Coffee, Tea & Cereal brands to deliver on sales and market share growth in the Asia region.

The role will develop and implement strategic brand, category, and portfolio strategies, drive new product and business development as well as regionally consistent & relevant communication & activation platforms, using our Marketing Philosophy as the guiding principle.

The position sits within the Regional Leadership Team based in Singapore and will report to the Regional President APAC.
- Markets: Greater China, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Export Markets
- Brand scope: _Regional_: Moccona, Super, Old Town, Essenso, Owl, YeYe. _Global_: L’OR, Maxwell House.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Lead and define master brand positioning, brand strategy and visual identity across all Regional brands. Govern creative execution across the Asia countries to ensure that we build distinctive and consistent brand stories across Asia in line with global and regional guidelines.
- Regional brands: develop regionally relevant communication platforms and lead above-the-line and digital asset development for the entire Asia region, working closely with regional agency partners.
- Global brands: ensure regional brand activations are in line with global guidelines, using above-the-line and below-the-line instruments provided by IHQ.
- Set the regional portfolio strategy across all Regional brands and categories, ensuring maximum penetration at optimal margins.
- Provide input to pricing architecture and pricing
- and promotion guidelines for the region, in coordination with Global Marketing, Global / Regional Sales.
- Derive an insights-led 36-months innovation pipeline, supporting the rollout of global innovation projects and defining and validating the delivery of regional innovations, working closely with the Project Management Office.
- Develop communication and media strategy for Regional brands in line with global A&P investment guidelines. Is responsible for the allocation and tracking of A&P budgets across Asia geographies, categories, brands and initiatives.
- Monitor in-market performance and seek growth opportunities to ensure financial ambitions and brand metrics are met. Secure timely delivery of business reports and analyses on monthly performance of key brands and portfolios across Asia through monthly MS% reports and engage local leaders to address performance gaps.
- Monitor and coordinate local brand/category plans and support local marketing & shopper teams in maintaining operational excellence.
- Identify insights, innovations and trends in the market. Brief and perform regional market / consumer research working closely with Global Insights Team.
- Represent the Asia region and ensure the voice of the Asian consumer is represented in global ‘blueprint meetings’ supporting stakeholder alignments and information cascades.
- Develop Regional and Local marketing capabilities and continuously upskill the wider Marketing organisation in Asia.
- Is responsible for budget setting with regards to the Regional brands and categories
- Is accountable for meeting the targets of Asia region (financial KPIs, market shares)
- Exemplifies the attitude to be the best-in-class coffee & tea company for the respective brands

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree
- At least 10-15 years of international marketing experience, of which the majority of time in Asia
- Proven track record of initiating and driving change successfully in previous function
- Managed a category or country in a FMCG company and have a solid experience in food or beverage products and category management
- A successful experience as a marketer of products which are emotionally important for the end customers. Marketing expertise is essential in all its dimensions, strategic and operational
- Successful executive experience in a company focused on growth
- Excellence in communication and cross-functional stakeholder management (local, regional and global)
- Fluency in English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Have an ability to lead through influencing cross-functional and senior management to impact decision making
