[What the role is]

As part of the Startup Ecosystem Development Division, you will be working closely with Singapore’s startup ecosystem partners to support the execution of initiatives and programmes that will drive the growth of the startup ecosystem in collaboration with partners.

[What you will be working on]

To achieve the goals of the Startup Ecosystem Development Division, you will need to:

- Establish strong relations within the start-up ecosystem, both locally and globally, and with public agencies working with startups, to understand the needs of various stakeholders.
- Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that both physical and online infrastructures are available to facilitate connections between startups, investors and enablers in the startup ecosystem. Such infrastructure includes startup clusters at LaunchPads and Startup SG Network.
- Managing, integrating, and utilising different sources of data. Utilise business intelligence tools (eg Tableau dashboards) for analysis to derive actional recommendations.
- Data mine and benchmark Singapore’s startup ecosystem with global ecosystems. Account manage global ecosystem ranking publication houses to ensure Singapore is accurately and favourably represented.
- Co-manage and co-develop data related elements for Startup SG Network to ensure that platform meets the needs of startups and various enablers in facilitating connections.
- Data warehousing and liaison with data owners across teams for reporting and analysis. Maintenance of technical assets and performance tracking indicators.
- In addition, you will have the opportunity to review, ideate, and refine the division’s engagement of startups, investors and enablers to foster tighter connections within the startup ecosystem to support Singapore-based startups in their growth.

Through these areas of work, you will have the opportunity to interact with global and local startup ecosystem players and develop tight partnerships with Startup SG programme partners such as incubators and accelerators.

[What we are looking for]
- Recognised degree with a strong interest in Data Analytics.
- Basic understanding of data warehousing, data structures & algorithms and able to extract data from various databases with Structured Query Language (SQL), MS Access, Excel etc
- Experienced in converting different sources of data into analysis with business intelligence tools such as Tableau.
- Competency in scripting languages such as python, but R or Java would be advantageous.
- A strong interest in entrepreneurship and/or the startup ecosystem is preferred. Any prior experience in the startup ecosystem would be advantageous.
