[What the role is]

This is a 2-year contract position as an Experience Designer in the School of Design & Environment.

**[What you will be working on]**

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Organise and conduct user experience and participatory design research activities with various users and communities
- Collect data and synthesise findings into reports and presentations for design development
- Conceptualise and design experiences, spaces and digital and physical products from research translations and specifications
- Project management from inception to implementation
- Continuously keep up-to-date with changing and emerging technological, design trends and best practices
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple projects at a time, with a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines

**[What we are looking for]**
- Background in Architecture, Spatial and/or Product Design or equivalent
- Preferably with 3 years’ experience in the Architecture, Spatial and/or Product design industry
- Experience and participatory design with strong portfolio
- High adaptability to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in CAD and creative tools (AutoCad, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office Suite
- Good project management and community facilitation skills
- Creative and possess good interpersonal and communication skills
- Result-oriented, motivated
- Ability to contribute effectively in a team and work independently with mínimal supervision
- Knowledge in branding, marketing and visual communications will be an advantage
