[What the role is]

To provide strategic counsel in the area of integrated marketing communications with the objective of accentuating the organisation’s role as the champion of the arts.

To lead and inspire team members to augment talent, career development and personal growth with the objective of nurturing strong, passionate and committed members with the specialised knowledge and skill set in marketing communications to impact the organisation’s work in advancing the Singapore arts scene.

**[What you will be working on]**

LEAD TEAM IN ALL MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS EFFORTS
- Provide strategic counsel in the areas of marketing communications, digital communications, branding and positioning.
- Plan and implement holistic 360-degree integrated marketing communications strategies and campaigns that support and profile the Council’s work.\Identify new marketing communications trends and growth opportunities to support and advance the Council’s programmes and initiatives.
- Plan and manage external consultants/agencies to produce impactful quality marketing communications and promotional collaterals.
- Develop and implement digital strategies to expand reach and following, as well as engagement across various platforms.

LEAD TEAM IN STRATEGIES FOR ARTS AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT
- Develop, build and implement products, initiatives and campaigns to grow arts audience attendance and participation, as well as advocate for the appreciation of and giving to the arts
- Plan, lead and develop an audience development playbook to provide guidance and insights to growing audiences for the entire arts sector
- Analyse audience data and insights to identify trends, preferences, and opportunities for growth.
- Plan and execute targeted campaigns to attract and retain diverse audience segments.
- Monitor and report on audience metrics, using data-driven insights to optimise strategies and tactics. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in audience development strategiesMENTOR, NURTURE AND SUPERVISE REPORTING STAFF
- Guide and build up each individual staff by holding regular feedback sessions, on-the-job coaching, equipping and/ or strengthening talent and abilities through identified training needs.
- Build a cohesive, passionate and motivated team.

DEVELOP DEPARTMENT STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS, WORK PLANS AND BUDGET
- Chart and develop department workplans with direct supervisor and advise and coordinate budget and workplan matters with relevant departments.
- Develop good internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

**[What we are looking for]**
- Good university degree
- 8-10 years of relevant work experience in corporate, digital and marketing communications, with experience in branding, and arts marketing desirable
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Good project management and leadership abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player, able to work with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledgeable and passionate about the arts
