**Day Superintendent NEXBTL/ HPU,**

**To our Operations team in Neste Singapore Refinery.**

**In this job you will be reporting to the Operations Manager. You will work closely with Shift Supervisors/ Deputy Shift Supervisors/ Operating Engineers to ensure safe and reliable operations.**

**Responsible to Operate integrated refinery safe, reliable and efficient**
- **Act as Site Main Controller, with all associated authorities, during emergency situations**
- **Authority to prioritise NEXBTL/HPU unit operations in case of an upset and deviations**
- **Responsible and monitoring plant efficiency and instruct accordingly**
- **Accountable to execute production planning in cooperation with Supply Chain Management**
- **Responsible to inform 3rd parties/suppliers if needed (Operational related)**
- **Operational Excellence champion NEXBTL/HPU processes**
- **Accountable for correctness, review and improvement of assigned Operations NMS Work Procedures**
- **Accountable with peers to ensure alignment and standard work practises are practised**
- **Accountable for monthly follow-up discussions related to forward/pulse survey and safety commitment**
- **Responsible for people management and development**
- **Lead the NEXBTL/HPU plant operations and teams according the Neste values and Neste Leadership principles**
- **Accountable for NEXBTL/HPU operations team development to ensure high competent teams**
- **Accountable for minimum competent shift manning for safe, reliable and efficient operations of the NEXBTL/HPU units**
- **Accountable for the personal development plans of individual team members**
- **Accountable for objective performance appraisals NEXBTL/HPU shift team members, responsible for quarterly performance reviews of NEXBTL/HPU shift teams**
- **Responsible for the NEXBTL/HPU shift team promotion process**
- **Responsible for succession planning and succession development in the shift teams**
- **Accountable for the yearly training and development planning of the shift team members**
- **Accountable for and approving of the development program in the L2O system**
- **Responsible for leadership development Shift Supervisors and Deputy Shift Supervisors**
- **Accountable for leading and follow-up on yearly and quarterly survey results of the shift team**
- **Responsibilities in the other processes**
- **Accountable to activate maintenance in case of safety and/or utilisation risk**
- **Approve NEXBTL/HPU operations Task Risk Assessments**
- **Responsible to approve critical Permits to Work**
- **Responsible to approve interlock bypass forms**
- **Accountable for Act to Improve program NEXBTL/HPU**
- **Other responsibilities**
- **Licence to Operate program lead for NEXBTL + HPU technicians**
- **Monitor and report overall shift team competence**
- **Plan and manage long term team competency program**
- **Discuss and plan with Competency team the yearly planning of all individuals and team trainings**
- **Highlight major training related issues to Operations Manager**
- **Member of Singapore Operations Leadership Team**
- **Represent NEXBTL/HPU in the Operations Leadership Team to develop with this team the Operations department**
- **Drive change initiatives from Site Management Team to NEXBTL/HPU shift teams in cooperation with Shift Supervisors**
- **Administrative**
- **Responsible to approve his/her direct reports entry in the eSolution
