Part-time Student Care Teacher

We are currently recruiting a part-time Assistant Teacher for our MindSpace Centre located at Sembawang Shopping Centre. Undergraduates looking for holiday/part-time jobs are welcome to apply.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in implementing Mindchamps’ enrichment programmes in accordance with the policies, guidelines, framework and philosophy of the Centre
- Assist in guiding primary school students to ensure completion of their daily homework and revision of their Chinese/English spelling tests
- Assist in the preparation of teaching resources and materials
- Assist in maintaining the overall appearance and learning environment of classrooms
- Serve as an inspiring role model with a creative spirit and a champion (positive) mindset
- Conduct daily health checks for students
- Ensure safety of students at all times
- Guide and manage students using positive discipline techniques
- Manage other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Centre Director
**Job Requirements**
- Enjoys interacting with children; prior experience in teaching or interacting with primary school students will be a strong advantage
- Familiarity with MOE primary school syllabus
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic and nurturing with a good ability to connect well with children
- Flexibility in terms of work schedule can be discussed
