**What the role is**

As a Senior Officer, your role is to formulate, review and implement policies and schemes in specific functional areas.

**What you will be working on**
- Managing and executing internal and external funding projects
- Working closely with the development team from conceptual and detail design to realization of functional prototypes
- Incorporating best practices in the development process and adhering to medical device regulatory or machine design requirements.
- Acting as consultant to assist academic staff in responding to technical challenges as well as to develop or enhance their technical competencies.
- Drafting of project proposals and commercializing developed products and technologies
- Expected to put up external project proposals for National Research Foundation funding, Tote funding and MOE Innovation Funding as well as managing the SPRING IVS programs for the college.

**What we are looking for**
- Suitable credentials in Mechanical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in medical device design and development
- Trained in GMP and familiarize with medical device regulatory requirements
- Good experience with plastic product design and manufacturing processes
- Good project management as well as strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent team player who is self-motivated, resourceful and possesses good interpersonal skills
