- **

The Global Banking & Advisory (“GLBA”) department is organized in 2 main teams:

- “Products” which offers our issuer clients (corporates, financial institutions, public sector) with capital raising solutions, along with structured financing. GLBA develops tailor-made products and providing strategic advice (capital structure advisory, financing schemes and capital markets) based on its worldwide expertise and in-depth sectorial knowledge.
- “Coverage” which manages and develops global commercial relations for all Coverage Strategic and Target clients; promote all Group products and services to Coverage Strategic and Target clients and key Group clients (corporates, financial institutions, investment funds and family holding companies) and defines commercial strategies in collaboration with GBIS’s other business lines (GLBA and MARK), GBIS’s Regional Divisions (AMER, ASIA, CEMA and EURO) and the Group’s Core Divisions (French Retail Banking and IBFS)

**Summary of Responsibilities**:
Responsible for supporting GLBA/DIR and GLBA Business lines and Coverage in Singapore in:

- Ensuring the proper set-up of control and mitigation of financial / outsourcing / operational / regulatory / compliance risks and delivering the risk and regulatory roadmap
- Delivering the strategy of the Business Lines and Coverage
- Monitoring the business performance of the Singapore Product Line and Client Franchise

Responsible on the ESG matters for
- Coordinating the various contributions of GLBA ESG program / ESG-related projects and initiatives in which GLBA is involved (reporting and regulatory watch, data management, internal and external communication topics, transformation processes, implementation of relevant taxonomies, portfolio mapping, etc.) across Asia-Pacific (‘APAC”) region.
- Leading the internal governance of the GLBA APAC around the above listed topics, and of facilitating the sharing of information within GLBA in APAC region in close collaboration with the relevant global and/or regional project managers.
- Acting as an entry point for all requests mobilizing GLBA APAC teams and ensure coordination with GLBA globally, GLBA/ENV and other departments of the Group (RSE, DFIN, RISQ, COMM, GBSU, CPLE )

**Detailed Responsibilities**:
**1st Line of Defense (LOD1)**
- Assist the Regional CORO based in HK (Controls and Operational Risks Office i.e. First Level Control Relays function within the Business Line) for Singapore Branch perimeter and scope:

- Updating the process mapping for the whole GLBA scope in Singapore on the run
- Assisting operational managers in Singapore in the design of first level permanent controls
- Implementing and maintaining the first level permanent control framework in Singapore
- Investigating, analyzing and drafting report on First Level Control (L1C)’s results and communicates to BU/SU management including Head of Departments, Internal Control and Line of Defense 2 (LOD2) teams
- Participating in the implementation of corrective measures in the event of anomalies, ensuring that the action plans of LOD1 and LOD2 are in place and periodically reporting on the progress of the action plans to management
- Contributing to the training and awareness of employees and managers on how to carry out controls and processes
- Supporting and monitoring transformations and changes within the BU/SU of the permanent control frameworks
- Ensure follow up and monitoring of any regulatory issue/development for Singapore
- Adapts procedures as needed internally, ensures correct implementation and design trainings as requires
- Follow-up, contributes and leads for GLBA the Culture and Conduct stream for Singapore Branch
- On demand, prepare notes, memos or reports to answer any request coming from local regulators (APRA) through CPLE, DFIN and Legal

**Strategy & Client/Products Franchise development**
- Performs ad-hoc studies and be involved in any projects, initiatives (including NPC - New Product Committee) on behalf of GLBA and within the COO scope in Singapore
- Be involved or lead some regional or global initiatives out of Singapore for the Region

**Business management for local teams**
- Ensures that GLBA transactions are properly processed front to end including the ALM scope; identify inefficiencies and risks and lead any continuous improvement actions necessary to secure and strengthen the framework.
- Coordinates the BCP strategy for GLBA Singapore in coordination with BMO in HK, local BL managers and BCM
- Acts as the interface with local support functions (DFIN, GBSU, HUMN, RISQ, CPLE, Legal)
- Acts as privileged interlocutor with the local ORM and local COO and main point of contact for Audit, ensures swift implementation of recommendations

**Coordinator for GLBA APAC on ESG topics**
- Project management: follow up of the different ESG streams in APAC and represent GLBA APAC in the relevant forums and steering committees.
