Secondment to Client as their Company Site Representative.
- Manage the Subsea pipeline installation.
- Supports COMPANY’s Project Manager and Project Engineers to proactively manage the risks and provide daily update on any such developments.
- Ensures that all identified risks are properly reported to COMPANY and ensures that agreed mitigation plans for risks identified earlier are adhered to at Site.
- Ensure that all interfaces between COMPANY and Contractor are proactively managed at site.
- Represents COMPANY at designated Site.
- Interface with contractor(s) to ensure adherence to the performance standards, drawings, and specifications.
- Provides oversight and day to day coordination with the contractor(s) to ensure delivery as per contract.
- Monitor performance of the construction work against the defined acceptance criteria, schedule and look ahead plan.
- Oversees the work of COMPANY’s QA/QC and HSSE site personnel.
- Ensures implementation of Management of Change procedure at site.
- Verifies and endorses Contractor’s daily reports.
- Responsible for coordinating with Construction Manager, Project Engineers, Quality Lead and HSSE Lead to ensure that rotation of Site Representatives is effectively managed, and subsequently manage the agreed rotation cycles.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Strong HSSE and QA inclination a must.
- Must have prior experience as CSR working in an offshore environment.
- Experience as Offshore Construction Manager an advantage.
- Tertiary education an advantage.
- Minimum 10 to 15 years’ experience in subsea pipeline installations / offshore construction, preferably involving large diameter subsea pipelines.
- Experience on projects with diving and ROV (remotely operated vehicle).
- Experience on subsea pipeline repair method using hyperbaric welding an advantage.
- Familiar with SBM installation or similar (FPSO, etc) involving chain and anchor pile installation (i.e. been involved in at least 3 such projects).
- Experience in trenching and backfilling works, with at least having worked on 3 previous offshore projects that involved trenching and backfilling works.
