**Job Description**:
The Information Technology Project Manager is responsible for the following:
1) Formulate plans and ensure implementation of appropriate, effective and Secured IT solutions to meet the business's needs

2) Manage Day-to-day smooth running of the IT operations and ensure the high availability of IT services (especially the Network infrastructure) during operating hours

4) Elevate the Business's Cyber Security protection and defence and Data protection

5) Manage and control long-term costs of IT systems

6) Scan relevant technology to ensure the technologies are appropriately applied

7) Provide and implement best practices in IT governance

8) Incumbent needs to work closely with the Business management in the planning and implementation of the IT Master Plan.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the IT department
- Leverage on IT to enable competitive advantage for the School
- Develop blueprint for IT manpower capabilities required to achieve the Business's long term range objectives
- Assist and support in the planning and implementation of the IT Masterplan, contribute to the overall aims and targets of the business as laid out in the business’s IT Masterplan
- Lead institution-wide projects that lead to sustainable and embedded outcomes
- Focus on supporting teaching and learning and enabling strategic objectives and projects
- Establish constructive relationships with other agencies in communication with teaching staff
- Lead the development and improvement of the technologies and systems in alignment with business needs and considering the input from a broad range of stakeholders
- Oversight of the provision of technical and functional support services that assist all users to become confident and effective with learning technologies
- Continuous improvement to learning technologies support services through innovation and stakeholder feedback
- Provision of a suite of support services that meet the needs of users
- Provide advice on networking, purchasing and any relevant contractors
- Provide new network and server solutions to meet local and international needs including data protection and security
- Responsible for oversight of all hardware and software as well as regular ICT maintenance programme and resolving failures in hardware and software

Job Requirements
- Highly organised and able to focus on the small things while remembering the big picture
- Project management expertise and experience
- Good communication and presentation skills, both in verbal and written
- Able to work under immense pressure occasionally
- Highly developed leadership skills to plan, organise work, manage and empower the IT team
- Sound financial skills, including forecasting is essential

(b) Qualifications
- Minimum Degree in information technology/computer science /computer engineering
- 8-10 years of experience in IT-related roles and at least 2 years in a leadership position
- Experience working with relevant computer systems/network
- Fluent in computer languages
- Possesses qualifications or certifications in management within a corporate environment will be an advantage
- Prior work experience in leading an IT team and/or work in school environment
