**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform **laser alignment**on rotating equipment such as main engine, propeller shaft, thruster, motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, fans, and turbines.
- Conduct **shaft, coupling, and belt alignments**with high accuracy using specialized instruments (e.g., Fluke, Pruftechnik, Fixturlaser, or Easy-Laser systems).
- Diagnose and correct **mechanical misalignment issues**, vibrations, and related equipment problems.
- Document alignment results and generate comprehensive **service or maintenance reports**.
- Follow all **safety protocols and procedures**, ensuring a safe working environment on-site or at client facilities.
- Provide technical recommendations for improving machinery reliability and alignment practices.

**Qualifications**

**Required**:

- High school diploma or GED; **technical or mechanical certification**preferred.
- Minimum **2+ years of experience**performing laser alignment on rotating machinery.
- Proficiency with laser alignment tools (e.g., **Fluke, Pruftechnik**, **VibXpert**, **Easy-Laser**, or similar systems).
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, precision measurement, and equipment installation.
- Ability to read and interpret **technical drawings and alignment specifications**.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to job sites or customer locations as required.
