**About this role**
Are you someone who shares our passion and enthusiasm for shaping a better world? Our Climate Change and Sustainability (CCS) team play an integral role in helping our clients understand the impact of their operations, projects and assets and help them transition to net zero carbon and improved sustainability outcomes. Sustainability is a key strategic aim of Arup. At the heart of all our work is our purpose to create a more sustainable future for the world. You’ll be responsible to consult and manage projects, based on experience and capability, under the direction of the Climate Change and Sustainability Team Leader.

**What will I do?**
- Lead and manage the delivery of strategy, planning, and implementation projects focused on sustainability, decarbonization, ESG and resilience.
- Provide sustainability expertise to wider multi-disciplinary teams to drive and embed sustainability and net zero.
- Assist climate change related policy and services action development - including GHG mitigation and climate adaptation.
- Lead and review energy, CFD, carbon, and other building physics analysis on projects.
- Develop and train consultants within the Climate and Sustainability Services team in both general design and engineering principals and techniques, as well as specific building physics capability.

**What will I Bring?**
- Masters Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sustainability, or similar area;
- Relevant industry experience in building environmental design within a consulting business environment;
- Experience in leading project involving building sustainability certification, carbon assessment, building energy audit, climate change assessment and net zero transition.
- Experience in ESG / Corporate Sustainability Strategy and Reporting (GRI, TCFD), sustainability assessments and ratings, sustainable design, Net Zero carbon/GHG strategy and action plans (SBTs), Management Systems/Standards (ISO14001, ISO20121, PAS2060, PAS2080) and/or sustainable finance is preferred.
- Certified accredited professional of sustainability rating system (e.g. Green Mark, LEED, WELL, Living Building Challenge, GRI)
