**The journey**
Since 2017, we have been on a journey with the clear goal of rethinking energy trading and organizational culture. A core element in this journey is to rethink how data and technology are a central part of our business, and we call this beautiful mix of energy and technology 'EnergyTech'. We have been very successful with our business in Europe and North America, and in 2024, we expanded our journey to APAC and with offices in Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney.

In the role of Head of Tech you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technological and strategic direction of InCommodities - APAC. The role will ensure the alignment of Tech platforms with the company's commercial goals, fostering technological excellence and driving innovation. Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Tech will oversee all aspects of Tech, including software development, data engineering, infrastructure and cybersecurity, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

In this role you will be working from our office in Singapore.

**Responsibilities - you will**:

- Develop and implement a forward-thinking tech strategy that aligns with InCommodities’ commercial objectives and overall business strategy
- Identify and leverage emerging technologies to provide competitive advantages in energy trading and analytics
- Ensure alignment of Tech investments with business goals and emerging market trends
- Establish and maintain an efficient delivery model for Tech services and projects
- Build and manage a robust infrastructure ensuring performance, reliability, and security
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency through the use of innovative tools and methodologies
- Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of secure, scalable and robust technology solutions
- Manage the software development lifecycle, including data engineering and infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
- Develop strategies to manage and mitigate risks related to cybersecurity and data protection

**Qualifications - we imagine that you**:

- Have 5+ years of experience from a similar position within Energy trading is a requirement
- Have strong tech mind-set and can navigate in all aspects of the domain from support to cutting edge tech strategy
- Strong leadership competencies and experience in leadership is a requirement
- Have experience in IT security and building infrastructure from an energy trading company
