**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities**
- To interpret technical drawing, reading symbols and able to plan layout and procedures
- Determine the appropriate welding equipment, materials and welding method based on requirements
- Assembling, installing and repairing pipe components and systems according to specifications.
- Align components and weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions
- Examining completed welds to ensure they are free of defects, smooth, and functional.
- Inspecting materials, equipment, and tools.
- Maintaining supplies, equipment, and tools.
- Observing safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirement**
- At least NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3 years of pipe welding experience preferred
- Able to understand welding specification and requirements from drawings
- Ability to interpret different types of blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge and experience with welding equipment and processes
- Ability to troubleshoot and strong attention to detail
- Independent worker who is able to work well with mínimal supervision
- Good communication skills
