Le Bon Funk is a neighbourhood restaurant with living wines and simple plates by Chef-Owner Keirin Buck

The team is looking for a creative & passionate individual to join the Front of House team as Service Captains.

**Your responsibilities include**:

- Assisting senior staff members with the preparation (such as bar ingredients, wine inventory, utensils, restaurant cleanliness and décor) of the restaurant for service and for closing
- Participating in the daily service operations of the restaurant, including but not limited to guest relations, food running, and service recovery
- Learn and champion the use of the restaurant’s Point-of-Sale (POS) system and reservations channels
- Understand style and philosophy behind restaurant’s cuisine, upselling menu dishes to guests
- Take charge of your own section within the restaurant, championing in the service of all guests in your care
- Learn and understand philosophy behind Le Bon Funk’s natural wines, our wine sources and suppliers
- Participating and learning from various in-house wine and beverage trainings, understanding the role of wine pairings and practical experience in creating cocktails and mocktails
