DESIGNATION : Healthcare Assistant

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Health Care Assistant is responsible for the delivery of daily clinical services to clients under the Home Care Services (HCS).

He / She will act professionally at all times and be accountable to the client and the organization to ensure that care is delivered in a safe and timely manner.

**Responsibilities**:

- Render care to clients in accordance with the Community Care Skills Standards Framework
- Provide direct Home Care Services (HCS) to clients
- Perform basic skills such as:

- Vital signs monitoring
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL)
- Assistance with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (iADL)
- Provide medication assistance/reminder
- Escorting of clients
- Transfer and use of mobility aid
- Conduct appropriate exercise and activities
- Provide service delivery according to service contract and maintains documentation accordingly
- Be a good team player, building positive influence to team and motivated to learn and grow towards self-excellence
- Participate in outreach and related activities
- Communicate and relate effectively at the workplace
- Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor and / or the management

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of Basic Nursing Aide Certificate

OTHER INFORMATION
**Relevant Experience**
- At least 2 years of relevant experience. Experience with community nursing is preferred.

- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Good computer skills

- Able to speak basic English
