**About the job**:

- The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist for Asia Pacific (APAC) to join us in Singapore. In this role, you will be involved in analyst relations (AR), public relations (PR), and the customer advocacy program in APAC. As the regional point of contact for communications, you will work closely with the internal stakeholders like the APAC marketing and regional communications teams, regional sales leadership teams and global communication team. As a Senior Communications Specialist, you will serve as the regional PR and AR lead and you will help guide thought leadership and shape external stakeholder perceptions. You will also be responsible for creating awareness of Red Hat’s company, offerings and solutions, and customer success stories and you’ll build creative storytelling ideas. You’ll need to be a motivated communications professional who is able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.**What you will do**:

- Serve as a regional point of contact for APAC’s regional and global communication projects
- Nurture and expand the relationships between key industry analysts and company's leadership
- Support development and implementation of the annual strategic and regional industry analyst program in APAC
- Provide regular reporting on all analyst engagements; implement improvement measures to ensure ongoing effectiveness of the strategies and their realization
- Develop and guide result-oriented communications strategies and impactful influencer programs to help build Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud thought leadership in APAC
- Work closely with in-country teams for APAC regional leader visits, ensuring that the local teams are supported well on the messaging side to best use the executive presence
- Work with agencies and internal stakeholders to develop customer reference stories and media and communication assets like position papers, blogs, and speaking notes

**What you will bring**:

- 8+ years of PR or communications experience, ideally in a multinational, technology company or with regional technology accounts
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in public relations, journalism, communications, or a similar field
- Experience working with media or industry AR and demonstrated success in building relationships with top analysts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and collaboration skills
- Excellent organization, program, time management, and content development skills; demonstrated ability to meet milestones and tight deadlines and communicate status on concurrent projects
- Motivated problem-solver with the ability to manage projects without direct supervision
