**About this role**
This Senior Mechanical Engineer for Singapore Group 3 MEP will focus on Hydraulics that includes of calculations, planning and engineering design.

**What will I do?**
- Provide detailed design work across a broad range of projects within hydraulic engineering and related areas.
- Provide technical / design input on such projects, ensuring work quality is maintained at the expected standard.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of detailed tender submissions and presentations and prepare project reports for clients summarising key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes.
- Where appropriate, to liaise with other groups within the geography and more broadly across the region, providing particular expertise on hydraulic engineering as appropriate and effectively manage the time, quality and performance of projects.

**What will I bring?**
- Recognized relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering - Hydraulics or similar area.
- With minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience in Mechanical Engineering - Hydraulics within a consulting business environment.
- Membership of relevant professional institutions/professional peer bodies or significant credit towards eligibility for membership.
- Proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines - and Arup’s related procedures including OH&S
- Knowledge of all legislative requirements and other regulations governing Occupational Health and Safety, and assist in ensuring these are adhered to within the office and on all projects.
