General Manager

The General Manager has the responsibility to steer the venue to achieve excellence in the local food and beverage space. He/She develops menus, controls costs, brings in business, forges and maintains a team that consistently deliver high quality food, beverage and service whilst operating in a fun and exciting environment.
The General Manager also formulates and recommends ideas and directions to drive changes in the group while maintaining a culture of innovativeness to sustain value creation in meeting the competitive position and long term goals of the venue. He/She mentors and develops the team's future leaders.
- Oversee daily operations
- Ensure food and beverage served are of the highest quality
- Manage finances for both front and back of house
- Act as mentor to develop leaders and team in general
- Challenge new ideas while actively balances risks and opportunities
- Develop business leads via sustainable relationships
- Drive customer satisfaction and improved market position
- Maintain a positive and inclusive working environment for all team members in the venue
- Lead organisational succession planning, capability development and employee engagement
- Maintain a culture of innovative thinking and practice
- Drive performance to targeted revenue and profits
