We are seeking a highly motivated Software Development Intern to help in achieving our goals.

As an intern on the OTA team, you will directly contribute to the development and improvement of Motional's software infrastructure stack. You will develop new software and improve existing systems across a range of technologies, both on and off the vehicle.

What you'll be doing:

- You will collaborate with the larger team of Autonomous Driving engineers, gaining exposure to multiple engineering disciplines and several projects simultaneously throughout the development process.
- You will learn about how autonomous vehicles work, and gain intimate knowledge of the software infrastructure required to achieve performance.

What we're looking for:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or relevant field
- Experience with programming languages such as C++ or similar.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Bash.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and creative thinking.
- Knowledge of software engineering processes: software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews, etc.

Bonus:

- Experience with software unit and integration testing.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Bazel and Git.
