The **Finance Operations Analyst **will be responsible for driving the operational accounting and financial closing processes for Aurum Group, a Woh Hup subsidiary. This position offers the opportunity to gain experience across day-to-day critical finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, GST, and other activities.
- Perform accounting and month end-closing processes, including preparation of bank reconciliations, fixed asset schedules, lease schedules, and cashflow forecasts.
- Liaising with auditors, tax agents for statutory compliances, and ensuring compliance with both local legislation and procedures in all finance operations
- Monitoring accounts receivables and accounts payable balances
- Troubleshoot operational issues with customers, suppliers and business counterparts to ensure processes are operated smoothly and in a compliant manner.
- Preparation and issuance of payments/ invoices.
- Review expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
- Input to business optimization projects and supporting the implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
- Perform other ad-hoc finance and accounting duties.
- Adherence to safety in the workplace.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on finance operations experience with a foundation in financial accounting (diploma in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent).
- Highly organized, efficient, and has strong professional pride in ensuring transactional accounting and closing processes are delivered accurately and on-time. Possess a keen eye for detail and are results oriented, able to proactively highlight operational risks to management.
- An effective communicator who remains calm under pressure when dealing with various internal and external parties building on strong operational knowledge. Willing to challenge the status quo and strive for continuous improvement.
- Able to assess data, extract insights from financial and accounting software and navigate between different types of digital tools to produce results. Continuously learning new and better ways to manage and analyze data to support business outcomes.
- Strong growth mindset and high personal integrity. A team player, with a positive proactive approach to managing and solving problems. Ability to collaborate across different teams is key.
