Manage co-location of the Hull site teams within CIMC yard locations and project execution teams.
- Manage Hull fabrication activities at all fabrication sites in China.
- Ensure Hull meets all technical requirements and project objectives.
- Interface with the Topsides Delivery Manager and Engineering to ensure the Hull/ FPSO is completed without any outstanding interface works leading to integration issues in Keppel
- Monitors work being executed against the baseline schedule.
- Able to adapt to a dynamic environment, while simultaneously maintaining a cohesive schedule, safety integrity for all activities
- Identifies required team composition for Project Team that will come mainly from Keppel Nantong and others from Singapore Yards.
- Efficiently orchestrates all KEPPEL and subcontractors labor to ensure schedule and cost expectations are met.
- Ensures weekly status accurately depicts percentage complete and flags areas of concern to Project Management Team
- Manages the team comprising of staff from Keppel Nantong and Keppel Yards in Singapore
- Leads team to effectively identify services needed before task execution.
- Maintains effective working relationships across the functional team, subcontractors and client
- Prepares and presents Monthly Report which accurately portray project status, issues with mitigation plans, schedule compliance and opportunity in addition to identifying areas that indicate signs of risk to the project’s success.
- Pursues and anticipates emergent work items and associated tasking.
- Meets daily with the project team, to review open issues, actions required in support of engineering and schedule, identifying and tracking items which may impact cost and or schedule.
- Monitors housekeeping standards and assigns areas of responsibilities, Compliance to PPE requirements, safe behavior as appropriate to KEPPEL HSE Management System. Works with CIMC on areas outside of responsibilities to ensure a safe working environment for all.
- Create and disseminate Post Delivery Information/Lessons Learned to the appropriate personnel allowing for real time corrections on subsequent projects
- Practices awareness of the bigger picture while reinforcing the meticulous execution of project specific items.
- Oversee delivery through handover to Singapore Keppel Yard and CIMIC items are properly closed up
- Ensure that all Hull project documentation (final As built) is completed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in Naval Architecture / Civil / Marine and Offshore / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 (Motorship), or its equivalent.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
