You will interact frequently with clients, keeping them (and your colleagues) abreast of work progress and managing their cost expectations. We are looking for a passionate, curious and driven Associate to be a part of our Banking team in Singapore. Reporting to the Partners, in this role, you will be drafting and negotiating a wide range of facility documentation across all fields of banking and finance such as leverage buy outs, acquisition financing, syndicated lending and structured trade finance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Draft and review documentation, demonstrate familiarity with precedents and market standards;
- Provide sound commercial and legal advice to the client
- Act for borrowers and lenders
- Supervise and manage junior lawyers in the team; strong team player
- Network with clients to capitalize on new business opportunities
- To succeed in this Associate role, you should be able to contribute to knowhow, communicate assertively when under pressure and be a proactive team player

**Key Requirements**:

- Excellent academic credentials
- 2 + years PQE (UK scale)
- Admitted in a common law jurisdiction
- Experience within a top tier firm would have an added advantage
- Strong networking and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
