Mainframe Developer

GECO is hiring for Mainframe Developer and Mainframe Support specialist for Banking client.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

- Mainframe Developer with knowledge of JCL, COBOL, DB2, VSAM and CICS
- Experience in Major Incident management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Management.
- Perform the full spectrum of Production Support responsibilities, based on the ITIL Framework: Incident and Problem
- Have very strong communication skills (written & verbal) and must be able to: leverage your influencing skills to gain.
- Good to have UNIX/LINUX, Oracle PLSQL, Shell Scripting, Autosys, Batch Monitoring, Automation. Tools Good to Have - Automation and efficiency Improvement.
- A person who is passionate about the new tools ( SPLUNK, APPDYNAMIC, etc.), technologies ( Unix, Oracle, Java, Informatica etc.), and processes ( ITIL, DevOps, Agile) and adopt them in the working environment to increase the efficiency and effectiveness.
- Exposure to Wealth Management.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Certification preferred).

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and/or project requirements.
