Senior Technician

We are looking for a **Senior Technician** to provide engineering support to engineers on machine/prototype evaluation and compile reports. You will also support production to ensure smooth manufacturing operations during handover and troubleshooting. The role will be supporting training and providing technical support to the team of 6 process engineers. You will be responsible for:

Technical Documentation:

- Compile technical Reports from engineering evaluation
- Create and update work instructions/drawing
- Engineering Support to R&D and Manufacturing
- Need to be trained in machines and then program the machine to produce samples according requirement.
- Support engineers in prototypes builds and testing.
- Support engineers in engineering evaluations and reliability
- Jig verification (e.g. components crashing) - Perform measurements according to drawing.
- Perform reject analysis on production fallout and failures during evaluation and mass production.
- Liaising with equipment vendors for trial and evaluation.
- Provide training to operatives - PR/PO, stock adjustment
- Productivity Improvement:

- Participant and execute continuous improvement activities

What are we looking for?

Qualification
- Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, (Mechanical/Electrical)

Relevant experience
- Experience on SMT manufacturing processes, and box build assembly as well as an understanding in process designing, product introduction and development.
- Ability to do SMT rework, likes hand-on
- Experience in Coating and Epoxy dispensing
- Ability to do use microscope and able do visual inspection
- Software skills
- Proficiency with computer software programs (Microsoft products, AutoCAD, or other CAD programs)
