**Challenges**

The Volunteer Programme Asst/Manager (VPM) is responsible for managing the volunteers program of the hospital to meet the needs of patients, the organisation, and volunteers, covering:
- Recruitment, training, on-boarding, and retention of volunteers to maintain a constant pool of volunteers.
- Monitoring and evaluating volunteer activities and initiating improvements where appropriate.
- Participating in volunteer activities /events to facilitate smooth running of the activities/events and ensure that planned programmes are carried out in a safe and conducive environment.
- Planning and scheduling programmes according to the needs of volunteering organisations and wards, ensuring adequate resources
- Administrative matters related to the programme, including management of budget and resources, compliance with IMH volunteer policy and procedures, PDPA matters, grievance procedures, and database management.
- Supervision of one part-time Administrative Assistant who supports the programme

**Requirements**:

- General Degree or relevant work experience in healthcare or volunteer sector
- Demonstrate leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiar with diseases/infection control
- Willing to work on weekends, with equivalent day off on weekdays
