Ophthalmic Nurse

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare surgical equipment for ophthalmic procedures
- Assist in ophthalmic procedures
- Provide pre
- and post-operative care and instructions to patients and caregivers
- Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards for safe and competent patient care
- Perform front counter duties such as patient registration, dispensing, booking of operating theatres, collection of payment, financial counselling, and appointment scheduling
- Complete any additional duties assigned by the Clinic Manager or Doctor

Job Requirements:

- Must have a Diploma or Degree in Nursing from an institution with a Practicing Certificate (Registered Nurse) approved by the Singapore Nursing Board
- Prior experience in an operating theatre or ophthalmic nursing would be an added advantage
- Must be a good team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be proactive and possess a positive working attitude
- Must be able to work 5.5 days per week, with Monday to Friday shifts from 8:30am to 5:30pm, and Saturday shifts from 8:30am to 1pm
- Work location: Orchard, Singapore.
