**The role**

You will be responsible for supporting our Product Development team with the development of our samples from sampling up to pre-production stages for our knitwear and Fall Winter lines. You will play a pivotal role in all aspects of the development process from design concepts to prototypes and final product assortment, and work cross functionally with the Fashion & Print Design, Technical, Production & Commercial teams within Love, Bonito. You will play a key role in shaping Love, Bonito throughout this exhilarating expansion phase.

This role will report directly into our Senior Product Development Manager.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Your main responsibilities will be split into 2 sections: _

LB Woman Knits & Fall Winter
- Lead and help to manage all aspects of product development and garment construction
- Arrange and run fittings with designers to ensure accurate fit and execution
- Recognising and solving tricky fit problems
- Prepare and send Technical and Fit comments to suppliers
- Accurately measure garments to identify any fit issues
- Execute fit comments in a timely manner to ensure fit process stays in line with production and action timelines
- Approve samples to proceed to the production phase after a thorough evaluation of fit
- Ensure fit consistency across all designs, range, and lines
- Effectively manage costs to hit targeted margins for the respective lines
- Track and manage sampling timelines with respective manufacturers
- Manage a team of in-house technical designers and seamstresses
- Be the main liaison personnel with suppliers and factories
- Be a part of overseas sourcing and fitting trips to factories during peak seasons

Special Projects
- Lead and project manage multiple workflows through our Special Projects (New Lines, Product Categories and Improvement projects)
- Be responsible for scoping the Product Development portion of projects, as well as overseeing their timeline
- Ensuring that all samples arrive and are fitted according to schedule in order for Buys to be made within deadline
- Together with the Product Development Manager, create relevant new size packs / guides for new categories
- Develop new finishing standards for new product categories
- Conduct fit and wears tests for new product categories
- Source and manage the budget for fit models specific to each project

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Minimally a Diploma in Fashion Apparel or relevant têxtile/clothing experience acquired in manufacturing
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the apparel industry
- Proficient in all technical aspects of garment-making and fitting
- Excellent organisational and follow-up skills as well as the ability to work independently
- Good command of both written & spoken English and Mandarin Chinese is necessary
- PLM knowledge would be a huge plus
