**About the team**

Our team aims to provide reliable and efficient delivery of web content by reducing the physical distance between the source of data and the end user. We're building a geographically distributed network of edge servers linked to the origin server to improve connectivity. Our work will help our users massively speed up website load time, high-quality video streaming, and file download time.

This team combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed infrastructures. Our engineers are tasked to ensure the infrastructure services are reliable, fault-tolerant, efficiently scalable and cost-effective. You will have the opportunity to manage a variety of complex systems at scale, including systems that administer hyperscale datacenters and public cloud, a global content distribution networks (CDNs) and load balancers that handles Tbps of traffic etc.

**Responsibilities**

1. Build, expand and operate CDN including CDN services and large-scale CDN platform which are running in public and private clouds and on-prem edge data centers;
2. Develop tools, automations, visualisations and monitors to facilitate the operation and optimisation of our CDN;
3. Be part of the team in supporting technical operations and customer support duty rotations regarding performance and reliability issues;
4. Participate in discussion on improving the whole lifecycle of infrastructure services from inception and design throughout development, to deployment, user support and refinement

**Qualifications**

1. Bachelor's degree or above majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields;
2. Strong proficiency with Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond with experience working with system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols;
3. Proficiency in in one or more programming languages such as Go, Python and Shell scripting;
4. Familiar with Cloud and CI/CD framework/Tools, such as GIT, Docker, Kubernetes, etc;
5. Strong in analytical skills and demonstrated ability to solve real world problems in a fast moving environment;
6. Possesses a self-driven spirit, capable of coping with ambiguity and moving projects from concept to delivery;

**Preferred qualifications**

1. Experience in designing, analysing and building automation and tools for large scale systems;
2. Experience in building solutions with AWS, Google, Azure and other cloud services;
3. Experience in networking technologies such as TCP/IP, QUIC, HTTP and DNS;
4. Experience in developing and operating one or more of following systems: Kubernetes, NGINX, DPDK, ELK stack, ISTIO etc.
