Senior Staff Engineer Industrial Engineering - Drive efficiency improvement using Lean Manufacturing approach to identify waste and to improve the factory manufacturing process flow and drive improvement initiatives for Manufacturing Efficiency and cost performance through simulation and work method optimization

In your new role you will:

- Drive **efficiency improvement **using **Lean Manufacturing **approach to identify waste and to improve the factory manufacturing process flow
- **Drive improvement **initiatives for **Manufacturing Efficiency **and **cost performance **through simulation and work method optimization
- Develop **Manufacturing methods **and **Labor utilization standards **to drive towards best in class
- Provide **expert guidance **on **workflow optimization, labor resource deployment **to enable scalability
- Partner with Automation team in the **transition of i4.0 initiatives **rollout in the factory
- Model and Analyse different business requirements and **propose cost-effective solutions**:

- **Tool up business case, **validation and prepare proposals for management review
- Perform Benchmarking and Best Practice Sharing within the Infineon Backend community

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- **Bachelor’s / Master’s **Degree in Industrial / Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering with more than **5 years **of relevant experience **,preferably in the semiconductor **industry
- **Domain knowledge **in **Industrial Engineering **or related field will be an advantage
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills and **project management **experience
- Highly analytical with desire to initiate improvements
- Certified in **Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing **or possesses experience in
- Prior experience in **driving I4.0 projects **is **preferred**
