About The Team
The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.

About the role
We are seeking a Singapore Compliance Analyst to support the Singapore Chief Compliance Officer to oversee the compliance function for the Singapore business and supporting APAC Compliance officer in providing compliance oversight over licensed entities within the APAC region.

This role requires someone that is familiar with the local payments regulatory regime, self driven and adaptable to changes to achieve its yearly objectives in a highly fast paced environment

**Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to and maintain the policies, procedures and risk assessments that support the Overall Compliance Framework.
- Monitor for new regulatory developments and issues that may pose compliance risk.
- Collaborate on new control implementation and revisions to existing controls, working with legal, business, operations and technical teams to define compliance requirements and manage emerging risk.
- Support examination and external audit processes, engaging internally to ensure readiness and externally to present compliance controls.
- Prepare reports to senior compliance stakeholders with timely and actionable information concerning the health of compliance programs.
- Prepare and review periodic reports (e.g., regulatory returns, surveys etc) to be submitted to the regulator.
- Work with product management and engineering teams to prioritise scalable compliance technology solutions to enable business innovation.
- Draft clear compliance requirements and work with tech and product teams to translate into engineering requirements.
- Ensure compliance requirements are implemented by establishing project plans, defining owners and milestones, reporting status to senior management and driving towards go-live.
- Promote a culture of compliance, proactively engaging peers and stakeholders across business, operations, and technology teams to educate on compliance concerns
- At least 7 years of experience in regulatory, compliance or advisory roles in a financial institution, preferably at banks/payment institutions/money service business/consulting environment.
- Prior experience working as a regulator or in a payment institution with regional exposure is a plus
- Hands-on, with working familiarity on compliance related matters especially with the implementation and operationalization of regulations, rules, policies and processes.
- Familiar with the Payment Services Act and applicable Notices, Guidelines, regulations and policies.
- Familiarity with the 3 Lines-of-Defense risk model.
- Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills.
- Good at execution, pressure handling and teamwork.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work and execute with mínimal supervision or remote management.
