You will have the opportunity to be involved in the service delivery of the day-to-day HR operational matters and to provide related HR support in an accurate and efficient manner which
will establish a trusting relationship with our stakeholders at varying levels within the organization.
You will work closely with other team members within the Human Resource Division that places importance on our ability to support each other.
**The responsibilities of this role are**:
- Develop and implement data related policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with PDPA
- Develop and manage the data retention policy while meeting legal and business data archival requirements
- Seek inputs from HR units to develop and maintain Personal Data Inventory and Data Flow Mapping
- Implement initiatives to create data protection awareness and compliance while ensuring all applicable data transactions are correctly classified by HR work groups
- Manage data breaches according to the data breach management plan
- Review compliance and risk assessment of HR areas of work and familiarisation on risk “heat maps”
- Conduct assessment to identify and address potential risks. Alert management and liaise with the PDPC as applicable
- Guide employees on data-related policies and respond to internal queries/complaints regarding data handling
- Facilitate and conduct data protection compliance checks
- Coordinate the data audit performed by internal/external auditors & regulators
- Provide applicable support and initiatives to the relevant HR work groups to ensure data compliance in daily operations
- Obtain regular ground feedback on data compliance with processes and procedures
- Administer key HR processes including but not limited to onboarding, employees’ contract renewal, benefits, and termination while ensuring compliance with PDPA
- Perform standard HR Master Data changes in line with the University’s policies and relevant legislation requirements
- Partner with HRBP/TA team members (as appropriate) for the executions of HR related task(s)/assignment(s)/project(s)
- A relevant degree with at least 3 to 5 years of related experience in data protection work with high understanding of PDPA
- Relevant certification(s) and/or HR experience will be an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent data analytical skills
- Strong stakeholder management skill and ability to communicate (written and verbal) with all
levels of the organization
- Well-connected and resourceful in drawing valuable information and/or insights from stakeholders
- Ability to navigate in a dynamic and fluid environment where quality and speed are of essence\
- Ability to work as part of the team and/or on own initiative
- IT savvy and proficient in systems such as SAP and software such as Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PPT etc.)
- Ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy and confidential data
- Critical analytical thinking skills, detail-oriented, structured, and consistent follow-through
- Anticipates and/or escalates problems (as appropriate)
