Conducting crew changes in compliance with the Seafarers' Employment Agreement and as agreed with the Crewing Superintendent;
- Verifying that all seafarers are trained and qualified in full compliance with the Company's, STCW and Glaf State requirements;
- Verifying that all seafarers have passed a medical examination performed by a qualified independent medical doctor and obtained a medical certificate before joining a vessel;
- Liaising with the vessel, ownders and/or operators suitable date/port of crew change as agreed with the Crewing Superintendent;
- Arranging and monitoring travel arrangements for seafarers including visa requirements;
- Maintaining seafarer records;
- Issuing seafarer employment agreements;
- Informing crew wages department of any changes of the employment status, i.e. signing on and off of seafarers;
- Maintaining of records and documents;
- Following up on general correspondence;
- Maintaining the computerised system;
- Scheduling various meetings and taking minutes;
- Checking monthly mail from vessel;
- Prepare mail to vessel and follow up;
- Reviewing vessel's disbursement accounts upon request in co-operation with designated Superintendentl
- informing relevant parties of any medical cases/accidents and follow up of these cases;
- Arranging for cash to Master;
- Performing any other special tasks as may be assigned;
- Being adequarely conversant with the Company's Management System;
- Implementing effectively the Company's Management System;
- Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;
- Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement
