**Responsibilities**:
- Mainly for the procurement of all material and tool based on the requirement of 3 RC sub-contractors
- Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- Ensure that all materials follow specifications, health and safety legislation, building regulations and environmental standards.
- Obtain competitive quotation, ensure best products from the right source and best sources, ensure that the Company’s best interests are protected in all procurement activities.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders to selected vendor or suppliers
- Evaluate, negotiate and award orders to selected supplier
- Ensure materials and services timely delivered to requestor
- Arrange for shipment or freight for overseas purchased
- Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues
- Research and identification of new materials & suppliers for design and cost savings and develop and implement purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
- Ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of supply and delivery times.
- Maintain procurement files and purchase agreements to an auditable standard.
- Liaise with Estimating Department personnel in providing up to date materials suppliers costs information.
- Day to day interface with site management to service site requirements and needs.
**Job Requirements**:
- Certificate/Diploma/Degree in related field, at least bachelor degree in construction management or purchasing and materials management.
- At least 1 years of procurement related experience in construction project ; less experience will be considered as Assistance Procurement Officer
- Experience of the procurement for RC sub-contractors on site is preferable.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and problem solving skills; experience in handling transactions with little supervision.
