Global Procurement Director

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Create, develop, and implement a global procurement strategy that supports the company’s business objectives, aligning procurement goals with the company’s financial and operational objectives.
- Establish and refine procurement management systems and workflows, creating a standardized and efficient supply chain management framework.
- Evaluate and categorize current suppliers while building a broad supplier network and strategic partnerships to ensure the stability and reliability of the supply chain.
- Understand relevant countries and world-wide markets to identify, develop, and qualify new suppliers that meet the company's standards and requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, evaluate their performance, and promote continuous improvement, efficiency, and innovation.
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable procurement terms, establish long-term partnerships, and ensure the legality and effectiveness of procurement contracts while mitigating potential risks.
- Evaluate procurement channels and oversee the execution of cost-reduction initiatives. Monitor and supervise procurement processes to ensure compliance with company policies, rules, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Analyze market intelligence, forecast trends, and develop corresponding mid-to-long-term procurement strategies.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a global procurement team operating in multiple countries.
- Guide, mentor, and evaluate performance of the procurement team.

**Qualifications**
- Extensive experience in establishing and managing global supply chains and large-scale procurement, with extensive supplier resources and the ability to handle complex global procurement tasks.
- Over 10 years of procurement management experience in large equipment companies, with more than 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong negotiation skills, supply chain integration, cost control, and excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Capability of developing and executing global procurement strategies independently.
- Sharp market insights, strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to market variations and make decisive decisions.
- High dedication, responsibility, and ability to perform under demanding situations.
- Strong professional ethics and integrity to safeguard company interests and reputation.
- Fluency in both English and Chinese for effective communication with international suppliers across diverse cultural settings.
- Willingness to travel (primarily in Southeast Asia) and work onsite when necessary.

Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
