Purpose of role The main objective of this role is to develop new clients while enhancing

business with existing clients, across the marine industry located in

Singapore and the greater Asia Pacific region, by introducing them to the

full range of products and services Berger has to offer. The role ranges

across a variety of activities, including strategic consultancy, new

business development, existing account management and in some cases,

project management.

**Main duties and responsibilities**

Core objectives include:

- Researching organizations and individuals to find new

opportunities
- Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new

ones
- Expanding presence across Asia Pacific region with clear

channel and route-to-market strategy
- Generating leads
- Meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients
- Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes and

negotiations
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports
- Maintaining Track Records
- Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
- Understanding and promoting company programs
- Ensuring prompt payment from customers within stipulated

credit period
- Coordinating with supply chain for timely service of products to

customers
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or

promote products and services
- Maintaining client records
- Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices

and product availability.

overall objectives of the company.

Other duties Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department

personnel as requested/required.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Qualifications** - GCE O Level

**Experience** - Minimum 1 years previous experience in a Business ,Experienced in coating sales in the respective sector with good track records.Development sales role is essential

- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience in and understanding of the sales process and

dynamics
- A commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly

build rapport with customers
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks

and Outlook
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
