Overseeing the operations and management of a precast concrete yard (for highway bridge/viaduct).

**Job Responsibilities:
PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT: Plan, coordinate, and manage the production activities in the precast yard to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing of precast concrete elements.

QUALITY CONTROL: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all precast products meet the required specifications and standards.

TEAM SUPERVISION: Lead and supervise a team of workers, including precast technicians, operators, and general laborers, ensuring their adherence to safety guidelines and production schedules.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: Manage inventory levels, monitor raw material usage, and ensure the availability of necessary resources and equipment for production.

PROJECT COORDINATION: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements, coordinate production schedules, and ensure on-time delivery of precast elements to construction sites.

MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS: Oversee the maintenance and repair of precast equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

SAFETY COMPLIANCE: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture in the yard, ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and implementing appropriate safety protocols.

COST CONTROL: Monitor production costs, identify areas for cost optimization, and implement measures to enhance operational efficiency without compromising quality.

DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTING: Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory levels, quality control reports, and other relevant documentation. Prepare regular reports on production performance and yard operations.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
A degree in civil or structure engineering, construction management, recognised by the Professional Engineer (PE) Board

Previous experience in precast concrete manufacturing or a similar industry is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of precast concrete manufacturing processes and familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality control procedures is essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for coordinating with various stakeholders, including workers, engineers, and project managers.

Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Attention to detail is crucial for ensuring quality control and accuracy in production.
