As a Regional IT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the IT operations within a specified region or geographic area. You will be responsible for ensuring that the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and technology resources are efficient, secure, and aligned with the company's goals and objectives. This role involves leading a team of IT professionals, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and contributing to strategic IT planning. Regular business travel to European headquarters and frequent business travel across Asia Pacific will be required

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Team Leadership:
a. Recruit, train, and supervise a team of IT professionals within the region.

b. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

c. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members for professional development.

2. IT Infrastructure Management:
a. Oversee the maintenance, deployment, and optimization of IT hardware, software, and network infrastructure.

b. Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of all IT systems.

3. Business Solutions

b. Provide SAP support, including troubleshooting, system configuration, and enhancement implementation.

4. Business Support:
a. Partner with business units to understand their IT needs and align technology solutions with their objectives.

b. Provide strategic guidance and IT solutions to support business growth and efficiency.

c. Support in developing IT solutions for evolutionary and disruptive new business models.

5. Strategic Planning:
a. Collaborate with corporate IT leadership to develop and execute regional IT strategies aligned with the company's overall goals.

b. Identify emerging technologies and trends to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.

6. Budget and Resource Management:
a. Alignment (with Head office and subsidiaries) to manage the regional IT budget, including cost control and optimization.

b. Allocate resources effectively to meet project and operational needs.

7. Project Management:
a. Lead and oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

b. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.

8. Security and Compliance:
a. Implement and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and protocols.

b. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection laws.

9. Vendor Management:
a. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure IT equipment, services, and software licenses.

b. Negotiate contracts and service agreements to achieve cost savings.

10. User Support and Training:
a. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users within the region.

b. Develop and deliver IT training programs to enhance user proficiency.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT management, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge in areas such as networking, systems administration especially SAP (ECCN + Hana), and cybersecurity.
- Excellent project management skills, including experience with project management tools.
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin and English (reading/writing) is required. Additional Asian language skills and German SAP Knowledge and are advantageous
- Familiarity with ITIL and other best practices in IT service management.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills (ability to provide leadership to the team)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) a plus.
