Opportunity to work in renowned water technology provider multinational with a strong global presence. Role is based in Singapore and hybrid working model.
**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS**
The Senior Accountant will be playing a critical role in the business, responsible for monthly financial closing, financial analysis and reporting, Balance Sheet reconciliations, local statutory reporting, statutory audit, tax reporting and compliance, budgeting and forecasting, annual stock take planning, intercompany and fixed asset register.
Main responsibilities include:
- Perform month-end closing activities, such as journal posting, account reconciliations, management reporting and provide closing support to operational finance team.
- Responsible for preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports, GST filings and annual corporate income tax filings.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely completion of month-end closing, submission of management reports, GST filings and corporate income tax filings.
- Handle annual financial audit, prepare audit package, draft financial statements, prepare notes to accounts and close out audit queries.
- Liaise with auditors, external tax service provider, and corporate secretary on all statutory and corporate governance requirements.
- Manage governmental statistical reports with timely submission and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support post-acquisition integration activities and contribute to process improvement/streamlining efforts.
- Address queries from head office, tax office, auditor, and regulators.
- Manage internal stakeholders’ requests or queries on closing and accounting.
- Support any other ad hoc initiatives or activities as required.

1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
- Desirable: Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
- Attributes: Meticulous, well organized, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, self-starter with good business acumen, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, high level of integrity, excellent oral and communication skills
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- A minimum of 4 years’ relevant professional experience
- Solid knowledge of FRS and Taxation reporting requirements
- Experience with SAP ECC6 is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tech savvy in financial tools
