**About our client**:Our client is a leading global provider of fluid engineering technologies, with primary focus in Oil & Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical and Process Industries.

**About the role**:
Provide technical support to:

- Service Centers such as reviewing inspection report, providing recommendations for methods of repairs/upgrades, conduct level 1 root cause failure analysis.
- Field Service, Customer and Front-end team such as replying to technical queries and assisting them with instructions for complex commissioning or troubleshooting.
- Liaise with various functions such as manufacturing site engineering, retrofit specialist, and advance engineer.

Independently able to conduct the following:

- Root cause failure analysis, detail engineering, modification upgrades
- Detail engineering required for modification and upgrade of equipment in the service center, by providing rework drawings, component drawings, BOM, material specification, etc, and update equipment information in SAP to reflect the modifications
- Reverse engineering of components in the service center or at the customer site by using conventional measuring tools or 3D scan.
- Proactively engage and support company initiatives designed to promote a culture of safe working, environmental protection, and continual improvement.
- Be familiar with the environmental aspects and impacts, risks and hazards.

**About you**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in centrifugal pump design, testing and repair.
- Relevant experience in Power and Oil & Gas industries, including knowledge of industry processes, practices & standards.
- Relevant experience in using calculation tools and software for pump design.
- Design and droughting skills.
- CAD (2D and 3D), and general computer skills.
- Previous experience using 3D scan and associated software for post-processing and modeling.
- Willing to travel within SEA region.

- Hands-on with excellent analytical, planning, evaluation and implementation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, presentation and report writing skills with influencing capabilities.

- Credible and ability to collaborate within a multicultural organization.
- Ability to travel and visit customer sites frequently with an assignment period from 1 day to 2 weeks.
