**C++ Software Engineer: Real-Time Market Data (APAC)**

**The Role**

We are seeking a highly qualified and talented technologist to join us as a member of our **Real Time Market Data (RTMD)** development team in our APAC region. The Real Time Market Data team is dedicated to building and delivering the best real-time market data solutions to our Portfolio Managers. You will have a passion for writing robust, quality code and take pride in putting this into production. We are looking for someone who combines excellent development skills, with testing and support experience.

**What you'll do***

In this role you will initially be the sole representative for the RTMD team in the APAC region. As a result, you will have a high level of ownership, autonomy and independence in the role whilst being a focal contact person for stakeholders inside and outside of the region. You will be part of a global team and will play a key role in establishing effective communication between the different regions.

**What you'll bring**

What you need:

- Experience working in financial services on market data exchange
- Strong C++ development experience
- Expertise in building and developing electronic trading systems, market data systems, crossing engines
- Experience with Linux servers
- Experience with relational databases
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience working with traders or portfolio managers
- Strong ownership experience and a track record of delivering results
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- Experience with low latency systems
- Experience with C++ 20
- Experience using KDB
- Experience with equity trading
- Experience and knowledge of:

- Cloud services such as AWS
- DevOps methodologies such as CI/CD and build automation
