Singapore BARKER ROAD METHODIST CHURCH Full time

**Job Description**:
Covers the premises of BRMC, BRMCLL (Barker and Vanda locations), and Oasis on the following job functions:
Responsibilities:
**Security of Church and Office Premises**

1) Patrol around the buildings especially

staircases after office hours

2) Check that all doors are locked, lights

and air conditioners are turned off

3) Arm the security alarms at the

Sanctuary, office and Wesley hall after

all activities have ended

4) Respond to and check on fire alarm,

lift alarm and security alarm panels

and alert relevant parties according to

requirement

**Maintenance of Premises (BRMC, BRMCLL including worship locations)
1) Conduct daily checks on building,

furniture (pews and doors of the

Sanctuary) and equipment and report

accordingly to Facilities Officer

2) Ensure cleanliness of premises

(cleaning done by contract cleaners)

before and after use and report

accordingly to Facilities Officer

3) Ensure all the toilets are in working

condition and to report to Facilities

Officer accordingly

4) When needed, to clean premises

when the cleaners are off-duty.

**Others**

1) Ensure facilities requested by

members are ready for use at the

booked times i.e. Open the doors,

turn on the air conditioner and lights

2) Supervise General Workers in seating

arrangement and provision of

equipment requested by users

3) Supervise General Workers in

accordance to task list provide by the

Admin Officer-Logistics

4) Record the meter reading in the

Switch Room at level 1 at the end of

each month

5) Ensure that the church pantries and

BRMC worship locations (Sanctuary,

Wesley Hall, Concert Hall, Drama

Theatre and Performing Arts Centre)

are stocked with the necessary

logistics and supplies required.

6) Able to do simple handyman odd jobs

i.e. replacing light bulbs, fixing of door

locks.

**General**

Any other duties as may be assigned by PIC, Head Operations, Property Manager, Facilities Officer and/or Principals of BRMCLL

**Requirements**:

- PSLE or Secondary School Education.
- Willing to work 44-hr work week with weekends (Sats and Suns)
- Able to communicate (in English) and collaborate effectively with various levels of staff and lay congregants.
- Strong and in good health.
