Job Title: Analytical Chemist

Location: Singapore, Ascent

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform analysis, which includes but is not limited to: performance assessment in applied samples and in-use, market product understanding, odour analysis, stability assessment, residual analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct Technical Development work support (around 30% of the time)
- Interacts regularly with regional and global Technical Development team, Application team, Fragrance Development team, Perfumers, QC team.
- Development of new analytical methods while keeping abreast on technical knowledge.
- Calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments
- Coaching/training of interns to perform lab work and operation of analytical instrument
- Will be required to travel to Tuas occasionally for work

**You bring**:

- At least Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Chemistry.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in analytical laboratory.
- Practical knowledge, preferably experience in various extraction methods, sampling, GERTEL-Agilent GC-MS & Shimadzu LC-MS/MS. Knowledge in perfumery is a plus.
- Computer skills: MS Office, preferably MassHunter & ChemStation, LabSolutions.
- Critical-thinking ability and strong work ethics
- Growth mindset and team player
