Freelance Interior Architect

**About this role**:
HBA Residential is a specialist design-house of HBA consisting of Architects, Interior Designers and FF&E Designers who conceive and develop ultra-high-end residential projects holistically. HBA Residential create ultra-luxury homes for both private individuals and developer clients who appreciate the value of the highest-quality design.

Our HBA Residential team is looking for Freelance Interior Architects to support our projects. You should be based in Rotterdam or within commutable distance of Rotterdam as you are required to work in our office for at least 4 days a week.

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualization and development of concepts that align with the client's vision and project goals.
- Develop mood boards, sketches, and design proposals to convey your ideas effectively.
- Collaborate with the design team to bring concepts to life through detailed design development and space planning.
- Source and select appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design concept and budget.
- Maintain knowledge of the latest industry trends, products, and sustainable design practices.

**Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you**:

- Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture
- **Right to work in EU without visa sponsorship**:

- **Currently based in Rotterdam or able to work in Rotterdam**:

- 1 - 6 years of experience with a portfolio of previous project experience in luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, PPT
- Revit, 3D Max, Enscape will be a plus
- Fluent in English

- Strong conceptualization and presentation skills
- Strong sense of design flair and love of art
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to meet tight project deadlines.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of luxury residential and hospitality design projects.
- Collaborative and enjoy working in team environments.
- Good communication skills
