DESIGNATION : Music Teacher (January 2025)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work collaboratively with children, teachers and the community of EtonHouse to develop a, fun, educational music/movement activities and deepens the learning that is taking place through class initiated inquiries;
- Create a variety of opportunities for children to express themselves and make discoveries using the children songs, lyrics and movements related to the curriculum as well as performance theme music;
- Meet regularly with the class teachers and curriculum coordinator to discuss ideas and connections to the current inquiries;
- Maintain a high standard of teaching practice and professionalism;
- Undertake continued professional development and share the scope of Music Teacher with the school community;
- Document children's learning making connections to the curriculum. For example; portfolio entries, newsletters, community display boards;
- Manage and develop pre-school resources and materials for Music programme

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in education with a major in music, or a diploma/degree in music or Diploma in Music Performance/ Speech & Drama
- Fluent in spoken and written in English
- Added Advantages: Ability to play at least one musical instrument and/ or basic qualifications in Early Childhood Education/ Preschool Teaching
