Job Description Summary: The Senior Director, Head of APAC will work closely with the core product and local market teams to accelerate PayPal’s global core initiatives, as well as work with several cross functional teams to drive alignment, implementation, and go-to-market plans. This person will also be responsible for grooming Product Managers and Product Launch & Growth teams to execute GPS’ strategic imperatives across APAC.

**Job Description**:
As the **Senior Director, Head of APAC**in the Global Product Solutions (GPS) team, you will be responsible for overseeing the product development and GTM strategies across Asia. You will be overseeing PayPal’s Asia-specific product management initiatives for both Merchant & Consumer solutions, aiming to balance customer needs, business objectives, regulatory compliance, adoption and monetization efforts. You will also be leading a team to execute end-to-end solutions across all merchant & consumer product lines in Asia.

**Your day to day**:

- Identify, design, and deliver end-to-end product strategy plans across key markets in APAC.
- Set the vision, product strategy and enablement of your Product Managers to be fully autonomous in driving their respective areas.
- Accountable for setting and achieving objectives and key results across by working with Global Markets, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, and other stakeholders in APAC.
- Serve as the single threaded leader for core product & Global Markets teams for driving localization of products in APAC. Drive cross functional alignment across other teams and stakeholders. Proactively identify bottle neck processes and resolve it upfront.
- Implement and drive processes that help deliver successful product initiatives by all team members across the product lifecycle (customer research, planning, implementation, go-to-market, and commercial readiness).
- Partner with local teams to drive product strategy. Anticipate and understand market trends and build contingencies based on same.
- Build an empowered and motivated team and next in line leadership.

**What you need to bring**:

- 10+ years in product management experience (in payments or e-commerce preferable)
- 5+ year leading and managing product teams (including building 0-1 products, scaling existing products etc.).
- Ability to finely balance international product platforms and local regulatory and policy requirements.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to rally teams, foster relationships with cross functional teams and drive alignment with stakeholders at all levels.
- Keen ability to thrive in ambiguity and simplify complex situations into simple next steps.
